Good news for those tinkering around with Valve's early beta of its gaming-centric operating system, SteamOS. The company has now officially shed the requirement that those building systems based around the operating system – or attempting to install it on desktops or laptops they already have – can only use Nvidia-based graphics cards. A brand-new SteamOS update now adds support for Intel- and AMD-based graphics as well.
