I found my internet slow down was caused by the default DNS server my router/ISP was using. Running this tool fixed the problem.

I always just used Google (8.8.8.8)...  seems there is better out there for me

Thanks for this little bench

Says OpenDNS 2 is 10% faster than my current DNS server. Only talking about milliseconds for me.

My new DNS server is 110% faster than my old one. It does make a difference...especially loading web pages.

For me it was odd...  my default secondary DNS (ISP supplied?) is the best, followed by Google's secondary DNS.   So I have those as MY Primary and Secondary and I also added both of their primaries as a 3rd and 4th fall-back options
