Summary

  • AMD’s Mullins and Beema mobile chips may find more OEM support with the release of free Windows 8.1 for tablet makers.
  • AMD can cater to the gaming segment for its tablet campaign. The Mullins comes with superior 3D gaming capabilities so marketing this feature is top priority.
  • It might be best for AMD not to support Google’s Chromebooks. Getting on the good side of Microsoft may help AMD get substantial marketing subsidies like Intel is enjoying now.
