Hello,

After updating to the newest Catalyst (12.8) I have lost my Eyefinity Settings. So, as a result of that, I had to restore all my previous settings. But I didn't saved it.

I wonder if there's any chance to save and EXPORT the current settings - or profile - to IMPORT it in the new Catalyst Version in case of losing my previous settings.

Thank you!

Create a profile in CCC.....save it with a unique name....do a search for that name in Windows Explorer.....grab a copy of that file....remember the directory where you found the profile file......the next time you update CCC go back to the directory and place your file back there.

Cheers.

Erm, so what ? This is a peer to peer based user forum, ergo nobody is obliged to answer & if nobody does - that's just how the cookie crumbles & you will just have to wait until someone does .

You can make profiles via VECC it's pretty easy really. Mine under W7 were saved under USer - Username - AppData - Local - ATI - ACE - Profiles.

If you haven't noticed by now, there are a slew of issues with Cat 12.8s, so it's probably best to stick with 12.6 until the next set comes out if nobody answers or you can't work it out for yourself after experimenting with things ...

Did you ask AMD via their official tech support ? Maybe that would be quicker rather than waiting a week on a peer to peer forum hoping for an answer.

...oh and ignore our friend fretboard's attitude too.  He tends to get hot under the collar often.....needs more vitamin B12 me thinks.

Nah not really any attitude, just informing him that if nobody here answers = c'est la vie .. just so he knows that to save him wasting time waiting and then being aggressive when he gets no answers = pointless on a peer to peer based forum ..  plus I mentioned where to find the saved profiles etc and what to do if faced with no answers here .. all vitamin levels normal Dr.McCoy   ..

sorry mates but i just updated to the ccc 12.11 beta 6 and export all the profiles+import ... nothing changed. same problem as before.

the only new thing was ... the driver remembered my display option - here "portrait" so i got 3x single portrait displays after the update but my eyefinity setup was destroed again+the bezel correction settings.

I would really recommend to fix this - amd, please!

its gettin annoying if i need the newest drivers and my setup gets destryed through the new installation over and over again.

I tend to install "overtop" of old drivers and never lose my eyefinity/multimonitor settings.

So just wondering what your procedure is for updating drivers.

I just install the new driver over the others too (without any deinstalltion of the old driver components). But this didn't solve my problem.

I also have Crossfire (2x HD 7970) enabled.
