I have a HD 5770 card and I am able to connect three monitors. I am also able to stretch the desktop using the Eyefinity utility in the Catalyst center. 

I would like to make use of the Eyefinity Display APIs available in the AMD display library. The AMD Display Library samples explains that it is possible to find out whether Eyefinity is enabled. 

Are there any options to enable Eyefinity using the AMD display libraries?

Is the catalyst center only option to enable eyefinity?
