Any and all feedback or ideas welcome !!!
This is a new computer build(specs below) that has gone very well. Only one issue to overcome and it is my HDTV via HDMI that I am using as a display is showing all images/graphics pixelated a little.
I had previously used a Seiki 24" HDTV as well as a Hisense 32" HDTV with my old Dell Dimension E510 [(Purchased in 2006) Running ATI CCC V 8.593.100.0 / ATI Radeon x300/x550/x1050 Display Adapter / Windows XP Version 2002 SP3 / Pentium 4 CPU 3 GHz 2 GB RAM] at their native resolutions of 1920x1080 & 1360x768 respectively without any problems - perfect resolution/clarity. When either of these 2 HDTVs are hooked up to the computer build below and the picture is a little blocky and slightly color distorted at native or any other resolution.
I've hooked up 2 different computer monitors(not HDTVs - just dedicated computer displays, 1 wide screen & 1 standard) via HDMI and they work perfect with this build. Great resolution/clarity.
Why are the HDTVs not able to show a true picture quality on the new build but they performed perfectly on my old clunky Dell? What are the computer monitors doing that the HDTVs aren't doing? Or, alternatively, what is my old Dell's CCC doing that my new AMD VECC isn't?
**** An Update ****
I had taken a few screenshots of the HDTV image on my new build and reviewed it on my old Dell to see if what I was seeing could be screen captured and they looked perfect! Unbelievable. Clear resolution and quality. So the mobo and graphics card are working just fine but the image is being distorted on my HDTV on the new build only. Ofcourse when I plug the HDTVs into the old Dell they work just as expected on it's integrated graphics card and older CCC but not on the new build. Ugh. I'm hoping theirs a simple fix I might be overlooking because I'm on my way to debtors prison for starting this project already and don't particularly care to put up the extra dough for top end monitors if I can stick with just one HDTV for now. Haha. Ok, Thanks again for any feedback or ideas you might have!
