Been running the 12.8, wanted to update to 12.11 beta for the BF3 increase ect.

Went to install the 12.11 beta 4 drivers..screen totally distorted immediately on driver install(and reboot) - text unreadable - multiple colors - looks like it's running in 16 bit color mode.

Figured it was an issue with the 12.11 drivers...booted safe mode - removed them, ran driver sweeper, rebooted...Went to install the 12.10 drivers - same deal, immediately when the display driver install is over - screen distortion, the best description I can give, its almost as if you are looking at a cracked LCD panel - without the cracks.

Rolled back to 12.8 using the same method - totally fine..I can even roll back the driver without a reboot and it corrects the display(as long as its the 12.8 drivers)..

Windows 7 64 bit - HIS radeon 6870 - anyone else experience these issues with the 12.10 and 12.11 drivers?

Think I figured it out. It appears it was either the HDMI driver or  HDMI port ausing my video corruption - swapped to DVI on the video card - no problems.

Will update again if any more problems arise.

I'm glad I saw this. I feel like my problem is very similar. Running two 6850's and I had 12.8 everything is fine. When I tried to install 12.10 I get the same screen problem (I think its called artifacting?). When I uninstall 12.10 and go back to 12.8 everything is fine again.  I am also using HDMI, I will have to try a DVI cable.

I'm having the same issue...

But when I tried to take a screenshot it came out clearly with no artifacts...

What does that mean?

I was able to adjust the resolution to 1776 x 1000 (which is under my recomended 1920 x 1090) and the issues go away...

But if I try to adjust back to 1920 x 1090 the artifacting comes back...
