Hello i'm new on this forum and my main reason to join it because i'm having trouble. I have XFX 6850 1GB and i'm running 12.8 version right now. Today i downloaded 12.10 whql and i'm getting NSIS error and saying something like damaged or incomplete file... On driver download page the file size is 184MB but whenever i start downloading it shows 73MB only no matter if im using IE, FF or Chrome.

I think it's problem in your AMD Driver Page and your file is corrupted and incomplete. Please fix it ASAP!

I am seeing the same issue with the RTM drivers, something is very wrong with the files on the server. Can someone over at AMD check ASAP?

If it said 143mb, then you are trying to install the version without dotnet4. Lets get this straight...what is your OS? Please read and furnish the info asked for in "PLEASE READ BEFORE Posting".

exactly the same problem having HD5770, w7 x64

the error comes from AMD server files BECAUSE

the size file in this link says "184 mb", when the browser ask for save the file, say 184mb too, but the result is not.

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx

but at last, is the same trash autodownloaded with catalyst manager (74MB)

You need a MS patch before you install this driver though, .NET 4.0.  Either find the AMD download that includes this MS patch or download the MS patch from MS then install the AMD driver.

It might help if you read the information on the driver page before you begin in the future so that you don't come in here acting like you know what you are doing when you clearly overlooked a BIG step in this instance.

^ Sorry to say but your response as being a moderator shows how much you care about other users and it simply show's how AMD has hired just random guy pick around from the web who is telling others what they shoud know and don't know and acting and bla bla. You need to read my post first.. it's the problem with the Download instead of installing .net or patching it through MS... and for your lazy info i know what i'm doing it's just you guys at AMD forum dont get it! It's the problem with the FTP not some other issue.
