I was wondering if anyone could help(and if this is the right place to post this. So for the moment everything else with my rig seems fine, other than an annoying pink tint. I'm certain it has something to do with my video card(6870) rather than my monitor or anything else but can't see anyway of fixing it. I've already updated to the most recent drivers and that didn't help, I've tried adjusting the settings in the video card's control programme but still nothing. Any help would be much appreciated.

Your EDID data maybe messed up. To check this goto your catalyst control center and under "My Digital Panels" select "Display color". Inside there check to see if "Use extended display identification data (EDID)" is checked. If it is uncheck it and see if that fixes the problem. Other than that I would recommend checking if your video cable is plugged in securely or defective.
