There is a big driver issue with AMD Catalyst 12.10 and Windows 8 Pro 64.

There is no way I can play BDs either using DVI or HDMI outputs. Cyberlink BD Advisor, reports a problem with driver.

Any idea on how to fix this?

From what I heard, you need to have a Blu-Ray Media player. I found out that Corel Windvd 11 Pro player which plays Blu-ray movies is not compatable with Windows 8 Pro x64.  It is a good bet that CyberLink is not compatable either. Corel will have either an upgrade or update to make Windvd 11 Pro able to play Blu-ray movies on Windows 8 Pro x64 in the near future. I believe you need a 3rd party media player that plays and is compatable with Blu-ray movies installed in Windows 8 Pro x64.

I am using Nero Blu-ray Player 12, they claim it is compatible with windows 8.

PowerDVD 12 Ultra, the one I have, is compatible with Windows 8 too.

So, the problem is the graphics card driver not working well with HDCP.

Found the solution... I had installed Hyper-V, uninstalled it and can play BDs back.
