Just upgrade from a 5770 to a Gigabyt 7950 OC. Originally did an install of catalyst over the old one, refused to actually open. Uninstalled, did a clean install. Had to manually install .net (installed .4.5). Restarted a few times etc etc. 

The catalyst control center refuses to function in any capacity.
