Just installed 12.10, something went wrong during install (but nothing in the log). I know this since my screens never came back after going black during the install, and only one of them got a signal from the card, and that signal was all black. Sounds kept playing so I know PC was still working, just something wrong with the gfx, so I rebooted, now things work fine except CCC doesn't work at all. Trying to launch it gives me an error instantly, something about side-by-side configuration, I've tried reinstalling it aswell but I only reproduced previous results. Anybody got an idea of how to fix this?

No...none at all.

Please supply the following:

2. Operating system
3. Processor
4. Power supply (make and model)

I figured this problem had nothing to do with my particular components, that's why I didn't list them but I'll go ahead and do it now since you requested it. I recall reading about the side-by-side-problem quite some time ago, but I can't remember the solution.

go to control panel - unistall programs - right click on the amd driver - change - then choose unistall completely ( or something like that )

then reboot

after that download driverfusion ( just google it, its free )

and remove any amd driver, reboot again to ensure their is no any files related to ur graphic card

then do a clean install

* i used to have the same prob
