I have windows 8, and my audio coming from my hdmi output started crackling, so I went to open up CCC and all of the options were missing. I came here and saw some relevant threads, but I alread have .net installed since it came with Windows 8, so why are the options still missing in CCC?

I tried reinstalling with AMD Install Manager, but it keeps hanging, and never finishes installing.

The current version of the AMD vision engine control center I have is 2012.0806.1213.19931. I don't have an option to uninstall, I don't have an option to repair or update, and Install Manager isn't working for me.

Anyone have a fix for me?

I was able to fix it. I had to intall a trial of an uninstaller program to get rid of all traces of anything AMD, and then AMD Installer was able to work again, and all of the options are back, and it looks like my audio is working again. Bad form, AMD, bad form.
