Sorry, I do not speak well inglesk, I'm Spanish.

The HD 6990 performs very poorly for hitman absolution and Asasin Creed III. (30fps with i7 3930k)

I wonder if it is already working to fix this problem.

It is a fairly widespread reality, as we can see on this website:

It is not your drivers...it is the crappy game. Please read (or translate) the following: http://benchmark3d.com/assassins-creed-3-benchmark

Intel I7 960 @ 3.87ghz *Intel DX58SO *HIS HD6970 2gb *Corsair TX650M *2x4gb Corsair XMS3 *WD Black 1TB *Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit ***Asus N71Jq laptop *Intel I7 720QM Processor *Mobility Radeon HD5730 1gb *8gb Ram *Windows 7 64bit ** Toshiba P75-A7200 * Intel I7-4700MQ * Windows 8.1 64bit

I read the following: http://benchmark3d.com/assassins-creed-3-benchmark    =     CONCLUSION: i5 2500k + hd6950 = 48-68 FPS in Asasin Ceed 3 (1920x1080 High AA)

I have i5 2500k + HD 6990 = 20 - 30 Fps en Asasin creed 3 (1920x1080 High AA)

The HD6990 is a lot bigger than the HD6950 (double performance)

This is impossible. I think, It is your drivers

Your missing the point. It's not the GPU..it's the CPU.

Intel Core i5-2500K (Sandy Bridge)

3.3 GHz, OC = 4.5 GHz, 6 MB L3 Cache, power-saving settings disabled, Turbo Boost disabled.

I have a i5 2500k at 4.6ghz

Even if you have an i5 2500k to 5Ghz can not duplicate the performance of a HD6990 with respect to an i5 2500k Stock, in Asasin Creed III

Ok...whatever you say.

The Good:

  • Works the same on both Windows 7 and Windows 8.
  • Above average graphics, especially on characters.
  • Good controls.
  • Visual difference between low and high settings are minimal while still having a big performance improvement.

The Bad:

  • Poor CPU/threading optimization which leads to pseudo CPU bottlenecks.
  • In-game Anti-Aliasing cripples performance.
  • Low amount of IQ settings.
  • Graphical artifacts.
  • Character popping.
  • Other missions related bugs.
