Every time I reboot, I get prompted to update to Catalyst 12.10

I've installed the drivers several times, but the updater still insists I'm running verion 12.4 (I think, might be 12.6).  The card is an HD 4800.

The driver shown for my display in Device Manager is 8.951.0.0 from 3/8/2012.

Is there anyway to get the updater to recognize that I do in fact already have the latest version?

Disable automatic check for update in CCC.

That doesn't really solve the problem.  I still want to get prompted when there's a new driver released.

Yes it is a problem when your card only supports 12.6...as yours does. Turn it off..it is looking at the version number...not your specific card.
