Hello,

I downloaded the Catalyst Software Suite with .NET 4 Support.  I see it has a date of 10/22/2012. 

After installation I looked in device manager shown below:

Since the date is 2011 I question whether I'm using the latest driver.

I "assumed" it would at least say 2012.

You are currently on Catalyst 11.11 with the driver version 8.911.0.0

I see that you have a Radeon HD 7570. This is an OEM video card, to get the latest drivers you would need to obtain them from the OEM system builder website or contact them directly. Not from the AMD website.

Would you please tell me what you mean by "This is an OEM video card"?

Do you mean it's not ATI but an OEM like EVGA SoNet or msi?

Or, am I completely missing something and EVGA SoNet or msi are NOT OEMs?

An OEM card is a card made specifically for the OEM market, which means for Dell, HP, and other manufacturers, in bulk, to put into their machines, instead of the Retail market which is what we have access to. These are special OEM Only cards (and processors, among other components) that are only sold to manufacturers and, as George said, supported by the manufacturer only.
