is it possible using catalyst suite or eyefinity software to have two screens clone but different resolution?

I use a 40" tv and also a 19" lcd. some days i only want to boot with the LCD and others TV. if i use extended mode then i cant access anything if im on the extended only. and when i use clone both grab the 1920x resoltuion and i have to scroll alot on my 19.

Ummm.. no, clone is clone.. an exact copy.

You might get some joy out of Ultramon. Never tried it myself so just a guess.

If in that situation myself I'd just make two presets, one with the TV as a single monitor and one with  your 19" as a single monitor. If it boots to the wrong monitor just use the preset to switch and away you go.
