keep getting that screen. not sure why my previous post is gone. but in that i described the problem of a signal not going to the tv once in installed the AMD driver. tried the latest and the one that came on the CD. neither worked. someone responded with giving the 10.2 version a try. did that and what i thought was a success wound up not so good.  once i reboot i can now see the desktop but after a few seconds this blue screen pops up.

not sure what the deal is. this HD Radeon 2500 AGP card has been great for the past year on this machine. now all of a sudden its not cooperating.whenever i use the generic driver by uninstalling the AMD driver, everything works fine except for the bad lag and high CPU usage.

any suggestions as to how to remedy this problem?  i mostly use laptops. so  not too savvy with video cards.
