I have been looking all over the web but cannot find any sollution. I have three acer 23 inch S231HL wide monitors hooked up to an ATI radeon HD5700. They were working fine for months. Then one day for no reason that I can think of one turned off and windows gave me this message that there is a link failure and the monitor cannot support the resolution. For some reason, windows detects my third monitor as a generic non-PnP monitor. It lists the other two as Acer S231HL(Analog).

Two of the are hooked up with the dvi cables and one is dvi to display port adapter. All three monitors work just fine. I just can't get them working all together anymore.

I have tried hooking them up in different configurations

uninstalling the driver

updating the driver

nothing seems to be working. Do you have any ideas?
