Hello everyone,      For several months I have been running Catalyst 12.6 with my MSI Radeon HD 7850 Power Edition (purchased in August, 2012), and I have been experiencing BSOD crashes under Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit (error codes: 0x01E KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, and 0x07F UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP); these crashes are almost exclusively caused by either the ntoskrnl.exe process, or a component of the AMD drivers (atikmpag.sys or atikmdag.sys).  These crashes often occur when using a graphics intensive application (such as 720p+ Flash video), or when gaming (Deus Ex 1 GOTY, TF2, L4D2, shortly after playing Borderlands 1, etc.).  I have updated my motherboard's UEFI (Asus P8Z77V-LK), and I have updated all the chipset drivers that had newer versions.  I had a family friend torture test my machine with FurMark, Prime95, and multiple 1080p Flash streams for 4 days straight and my hardware did not fail, nor were there any BSODs.  Shortly after recieivng my machine it started BSODing again.  Having established that hardware is not the issue and that my crashes are somehow caused by the AMD drivers, what can I do to correct this issue?  I know the Buzzing crashes are a common issue among 7000 series card owners, and that many users recommend either Catalyst 12.4 or the latest beta Catalyst 12.11 driver (http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=454&threadid=160398&forumid=11 , http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=440&threadid=160356&STARTPAGE=3&FTVAR_FORUMVIEWTMP=Linear).   I was hoping that someone else may have already found the solution to this issue and would be able to lend a hand.  If you need any more system information or minidumps, those can be furnished on request.

I would reinstall using this guideline, paying attention to the netframework requirement:
