I'll add this. I grabbed the official 12.10 right from here [AMD] instead of using the ones from Gigabytes site.
Upon installing the VGA shows radeon like it should and asked for a reboot.
This is where windows hangs and goes into a constant boot loop.

Is the APU damaged, turned off or is this simply a driver issue?
The chip works fine, ran prime95 etc with no issues.
Ironically on the processor thread I mentioned the chip I bought is made in
China, guess I was right to assume it's junk.
As I mentioned, I bought the A10 for the graphics, if they are useless I would have just went with a FX but as my past 6 builds were INTEL and flawless this is it, no more AMD for me.
