Hi.

When I install the latest driver for desktop HD6xxx , Win 7 64 bit, I get warning at the end.

When I open the log, I see no mention of failure or warning message. This however, does affect gaming.

Looking at the XML on a 3rd party application reveals the following failure:

but it's not.

One issue I discover is after installing the driver, I installed Lucid VirtuMVP. This causes BF3 to crash.

Prior to the installation warning message, I used VirtuMVP with BF3 without issues.

It only seems logical that the warning is there for a reason.

You can always 1. Roll back to previous drivers 2. Install drivers following the advice here http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=444&threadid=162444&enterthread=y or look for another reason your third party software doesn't work correctly. Also...put  BF3  in the forum search box and read awhile.

Of course be sure you are NOT installing beta driver for 7XXX series.

Uninstall/reinstall until warnings no longer appear...

use driver fusion (driver sweeper is now obsolete)...

remove everything amd in Programs ...

**remove drivers in Device Manager**...be sure you have latest .net version...you can clean with dotnetfx_cleanup_tool...download latest .net version...re-install.

 Had same problem, frequently it takes more than one install with amd drivers.

 

You CAN leave warnings as some would advise...but doing it with NO warnings will be more satisfying!

I have done as you guys said.

 

I reinstalled .net 4.5

used .net clean up tool

used driver sweeper (the new version) in safe mode.

I re downloaded the driver

and I got the same stupid warning that doesn't say anything.

 

I never had issues nor warnings when installing HD series drivers.

 

 

You will get a warning notice like that for many reasons...one of which is a particular part of the install package did not need updating so it didn't install. Your installation is fine. If there is a "error" it tells you what it is...and has "ERROR" next to it (not success).

As I see there's still something wrong here, and here is what's wrong:

 

Without warning, when installation ends with sucess, I then install LucidLogix VirtuMVP and I can play BF3 without issues.

 

With the warning of ATI driver installation, the game crashes when I have VirtuMVP installed. 

Clealry this shouldn't happend as two days ago it worked perfectly.

Did you try disabling the drivers in Device Manager? Removing ALL AMD in Control Panel/Programs & Features?
