It looks like I am not the only one with this problem because there is another post with same issue.

I have been using AMD FirePro 2460 cards with multiple monitors with Windows -7 & AMD drivers with no problem.

I installed Windows -8 ( 64 bit ) & right from the beginning before I even install anything else besides the drivers, my screens started going black with the error message " Display driver stopped responding & has recovered "

I did everything possible & reinstalled Windows -8 several times but it still doesn't help.

When I started installing other applications, One of my Major Business Application also doesn't display.

This happens so often every few minutes that it is impossible to work.

I am not running any games or video intensive programs. Just simple 2D financial applications & they work flawlessly with the same configuration except it was windows -7. ( Note : This card is designed especially for Financial Applications )

Instead of people using AMD drivers going thru nightmares, why can't AMD engineers take a serious look at drivers & ask people their Hardware configurations & then AMD get together the same hardware & software & see if the problem is with drivers or something else. I guess AMD can afford few hundred dollars instead of Hundreds of Thousand of people banging their heads on the wall. Is it too much to ask ?

How many people have to report this problem before AMD listens to them ?

Also can AMD assure people that if this is a driver problem then it is not going to hurt people's hardware or software ? Many screens going black & recovering, many times an hour got to have some kind of stress on either monitors OR other hardware, right ?

OR

At least it definitely puts lots of stress on people's mind & hurts their business.

AMD, please Respond soon.

P.S. I have a very simple solution that will not cost AMD anything. Here it is :

Log into mine or anyone else’s computer (If people don’t mind & why wouldn’t they, to open your eyes instead of banging their heads ) & see for yourself.

OR

Just install 2 or 3 FirePro 2460 cards & latest workstation drivers on one of your machines with Windows-8 & eight To 12 monitors ( with Resolution 1920x1200 ) and make a video to prove us that there is nothing wrong with drivers.

I wonder why you come to the gaming forums with FirePro issues instead of contacting AMD.

I thought it was catalyst category & didn't know who to turn to.

But I would really appreciate if you could guide me as to who should I write to OR Call at AMD.

Please give me e mail addresss And/OR Phone number.

Thank You for pointing out mymistake. I now probably get a faster reply.

Very kind of you.

There's a contact AMD link on the bottom of every page. This one included.
