AMD Catalyst Driver Version, and Driver History

Trying to install using catalyst 13.1, so far I have never successfully used any AMD display driver.... switching off from NVIDIA, which I've already uninstalled.

Operating System
Windows 7 64 Bit

Issue Details

Display drivers will not properly install no matter how hard I try.

I have tried installing in safe mode, no luck. I tried manually installing through Device Manager, Windows was able to find the driver but encountered an error trying to install it "Data Error: (Cyclic redundancy check)" I have tried uninstalling using System Ninja, Driver Sweeper, and CCleaner to clean it up and reinstall, still no luck.

Currently downloading 12.10 catalyst... will post results soon....
Edit1: No luck with 12.10, same error.

Solved the problem, guys.

I eventually got things working by installing drivers through Device Manager in Safe Mode, which didn't work before, but for some reason after hours of troubleshooting possible random issues and a few dozen restarts it worked.

I think what finally did it in was a more thourough uninstall and driver elimination while in Safe Mode using 3rd party tools like System Ninja and Driver Fusion...

Thanks for the moral support, I guess. Good luck anyone sharing similar difficulties.

Cheers.
