1. Change your resolution to anything lower than native.
2. Set GPU scaling options in CCC.
3. Apply settings.
4. Set resolution back to native.
Note: If 1080p is still grayed out (shouldn't be), use something lower, like 640x480 or anything. It's a global setting for all resolutions below native.
