Hi,

I have an ATI Radeon HD3650 card, with HDMI output. This output is connected to a 5.1 surround sound receiver. In the Realtek HD audio manager (I've updated to the latest version) the only available configuration is stereo.

When I go to playback devices -> Realtek HDMI output -> properties -> supported formats, in Windows (vista, 32 bits) the boxes "DTS Audio" and "Dolby digital" are checked. When I press the test button I get sound through all six of my speakers.

Has anbody experienced a similar problem, or has any idea how to solve this?

Thanks!

i have the exact same problem. My surround is the latest LG and cost 1000 bucks cannot get other than 2 channel. Computer cost me 2000 bucks.

Nothing seems to help, i also bought optical cable.. didnt work either.

Installed drivers over and over again, nothing helped. Gave computer to technical support in a private company, 50 bucks later. No result

Will do, so far I've searched a lot of forums without results.
