Hello Amd Support.

After pulling my hair out for the last days trying to figure out what's goin on, i've decided to post my problem here, as i haven't recieved a e-mail from support yet.

After installing the 13.1 legacy driver, my 2nd core got disabled of my 4870X2, the option in Amd Catalyst is gone for crossfire, and on the Performance>overdrive tab i can't see my 2nd core either, same shows on gpu-z that Crossfire is disabled.

I have unistalled catalyst and also used CCleaer for the registry, also unistalled/reinstalled the device at device management, in wich it still only shows 1, 4870x2, as where its supposed to show 2 adapters from what i remember

This usually works for installing/reinstalling older or newer drivers, but not this time, changing driver version works, but the layout in Catalyst stays the same, crossfire stays disabled and the previous 12.6 options are not coming back.

Also checked power supply and everything is working fine, as it always has 4+ years.

So i'm kinda clueless on where the problem is, i really hope you guys can help me out.

Greetings Rob

Also something id like to add to my problem is, that the Performance>overdrive tab bugs on reboot, as it's not recognizing admin, when i open catalyst and go to performance, it asks for user agreement, and when you click on it it closes the tab, only goin to task manager and ending the process MoM and Catalyst fixes the problem, by then right clicking on catalyst and run as Admin, my guess is that it doesnt save settings?

Did you reboot after installing the new driver?  CF won't be re-enabled until the driver is reloaded, which is most simply done with a reboot.
