I have a Radeon HD 6520G on a Toshiba Satalite laptop.

When i log into Blacklight Retribution it says my graphics card driver is 22 months out of date.

I have downloaded and installed the latest driver from the manufacturer but it is 22 months old. (11/10/2011)

Is there a newer driver and how can i install it?

Newest driver for a laptop is the one provided by the manufacturer. If they stopped supporting it, that's bad luck.

If you really have to have newer drivers, try modding the current generic mobility drivers (available from amd.com). It may or may not work but worth a try if you're up to it. You'll need Notepad and some common sense, and also there are plenty of tutorials on the internet.
