I have a intermittent display blank (black screen for about 1 second) on Display 1 of my dual monitors setup. CCC has never run from first install so I can't get into that to see what is going on. 

I have been through the standard uninstall procedure of uninstalling CCC, reboot, driver sweep, reboot, uninstall display driver from device manager and reinstall. I've tired this several times trying all sorts of options (driver sweep in safe mode etc etc). Could never install CCC in safe mode though. I have had clean install with no errors reported, I've had one install where there was an error in the HDMI audio driver (I'm not using hdmi so not sure if this is an issue) and another where I left the machine whirring away as it tried to install the CCC component (task manager indicated the program was running fine but I shut it down after about an hour).

Asus VE278Q dual displays (connection using both displayport cables)
Antec Earthwatts 650w powersupply
16GB Kingston 1600mhz DDR3 ram 

 Any help much appreciated. The screen blanking is driving me nuts.
