Hi all. Have found that the new beta drivers have caused Crysis2 graphics to revert to what they were like in the early days using xfire. Shadows flickering everywhere and lines going up and down the monitor. Anyone notice this. I want the new drivers 'cos I have Crysis3, but not at the expense of losing Crysis2.

The best driver for Crysis 3 will be the next  WHQL release (or maybe even the one after). If you don't want to risk problems don't use BETA drivers.

I have no problems with the BETA other than when I play Crysis2. I am hoping that when the next full release comes out, they do not have the same problem.

I thought drivers were meant to improve things, not go backwards?

They may not work for you, but 13.2 beta6-7 work great for me and everyone I know. Could be your computer...but who knows? No information.

EDIT: I didn't see the crossfire thing...sry. I loaded up Crysis 2 and everything played ok with the 13.2 beta7 drivers...(C2 is definetly harder imo)...but I have only a single card. I asked a friend who has 2x6970's xfired to give it a go...and he had problems...lock ups, etc. So it seems there could be a issue. He used the reporting form to alert the AMD engineers as I hope you will. The 13.2 beta's 3-4-5 caused problems with BO2 (single or xfire) and enough people reported it and it was specifically fixed in beta6....they do pay attention.

Did you try turning VSync on?

BTW...the Times Square level where you go against the pinger is pretty challenging on hardest difficulty setting!

Are you experiencing this throughout the game?  The reason I ask is that I just went to play Crysis 2 (after a long hiatus) and I experienced this issue but (for some odd reason) only in Chapter 3 (and then only in spots).  I verified that disabling crossfire made the issue disappear.  But the surprising thing is that I do not experience the issue in any other part of the game, just chapter 3.  I am running a pair of HD7970s in crossfire (at 1050/1500) under catalyst 13.2 beta 5.
