Hi,

I have this weird problem with catalys 13.1

I have a Radeon HD 6900 graphics card, when I install the catalyst software and I am on my desktop, you can here the cards fan spinning up and when I go and check on the temperature it is between 70-75 degrees, that is idle temperature.

If I uninstall catalyst the problem is resolved, idle temperature at approximatly 32 degrees in terms of MSI Afterburner

I am on Windows 64-bit.

I have blown out any dust that accumilated in my box;

Applied new thermal paste;

Checked the fans, both in good working order.

Any assistance will be sincerely appreciated, what can be the issue?
