Computer went together fine (new build).  All the drivers loaded on fine except the VGA (CCC) off the disk.  If monitor was connected to VGA, it would turn off and on every time you clicked on something.  If it was connected DVI, it would completely lock up after about 15 min.  Uninstall the CCC drivers and the system would work fine again.  Downloaded the drivers off from another computer and installed them and still, the same issue. 

Any idea's?

Check temperatures. Is the cooler seated properly?

It is an aftermarket cooler on their.  Pretty much the same style as the stock one, just bigger.  It is seated properly and temps are well below the max limit and it stays around 40 to 45*C under game load.

What gpu are you using? did you use the right cable to connect the gpu to the motherboard? (using pci cable on a pci-e port moght cause some problems)

Also download the latest drivers from the Amd site. Those disk drivers are outdated sometimes.  And make sure the DVI cable is connected properly to the monitor. Sometimes the screws are a bit loose.

Using the onboard video via the APU A8-5600K shared with 8GB of 1866 RAM.  Even the latest drivers from AMD and ASRock's website cause a huge problem.  Screen goes from on to off when connected VGA and computer locks up when connected DVI. 

The only fix that I found is using the Windows Vista 64bit Catalyst drivers.  Those are the only ones that cause no issue what-so-ever.
