Hello!

I have an issue with my graphics card while playing Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3. Basically, it just shuts down the game and I get an error saying "The display driver stopped working and recovered".

Ingame graphics settings: High - FXAA used I believe. GPU temp after crash was 61°C (meassured with catalyst)

System details as follows:

Card: 6950HD 1GB

PSU: OCZ Fatal1ty 550

OS: Windows 7 x64

RAM: 8GB DDR3

CPU: i5 2500k @ 3.3 GHz

Mobo: P8P67 LE (BIOS 3702 - newest release)

SSD boot drive - game is on SSD

Catalyst Version: 13.1

No Antivirus used

The card is not overclocked. I personally did not overclock it, not sure about factory. I'm gonna say no.

Overdrive says the GPU clock is 250MHz and memory is 150MHz on idle. (44°C temp)

Well Ive had a similar issues before where basically any kind of stress on the card would crash it (say, moving or resizing a window). It was the same card model and I sent it back and got a new one - this one.

I'm tempted to try older drivers but what good will that do performance wise? That would be an extremely bad solution. Also tempted to never buy AMD again.
