I was experiencing the problem described in FAQ GPU-72, namely: There were black borders around the Windows desktop because the desktop didn’t completely fill the entire screen area. The solution provided in the FAQ is to set Scaling Options to 0% in Catalyst Control Center.

The solution worked well, however, even after setting scaling options to 0%, a thin black border remains. The border is perhaps 2 millimeters...just enough to be noticeable.

My card is the HD5670, connecting via HDMI at 1,920 x 1,080; using the latest driver as of this writing. How can I remove the remaining black border?
