Hello,

i've reinstalled the 13.1 drivers for windows 8 64 bits and with Firefox I got no hardware acceleration (even though it worked well before the reinstallation).

How can i do a clean install of catalyst drivers with windows 8?

(I did not understand the FAQ post about that. It was written for windows 7.)

You have to choose hardware acceleration. Firefox > tools > options > advanced.

You can read this tut " Clean install of AMD drivers" that is located in the "HOW TO and FAQ" section of this forum...note that Windows ate cannot use the AMD driver clean-up tool. > http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=444&threadid=162444&enterthread=y

ok when you write "Windows 8, Vista & WinXP: Use your computer's uninstall-a-program option (in control panel).  Do an express uninstall of the AMD Catalyst Install Manager"

I don't know what to do. What should i uninstall ? the driver with amd catalyst install manager? I cannot only delete the amd install manager itself. it's impossible. I must uninstall the driver or the amd vision engine control center for example.

Just select install manager..uninstall..and it will ask you if you want to 'express uninstall all AMD software. Say yes to everything including uninstalling the install manager.
