Found on the AMD Radeon Video Drivers page:

sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-64.aspx

Driver version:   12.102.3.0 (13.5 beta 2)

13.4 WHQL shows Driver Version 12.104 in Release Notes)

?

Much discussion on which version is *newer*...am going with the 13.5 beta 2 for now.

I posted the 13.5 Beta Driver article:
http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst13-5WINBetaDriver.aspx

I will agree it can get confusing - even for me, as I am not a part of Catalyst development.  The Catalyst 13.5 Beta driver posted was introduced to me in reference as Beta2.  However, I prefer to initially post a new Beta driver without a version (1/2/3, etc), and as of now I haven't been instructed otherwise.

Note the article's title won't change as 'updates' to the Beta driver are released.

Regardless, it would evoke discussion (evidenced by this thread).  If I posted it saying Beta2, some would want to know where Beta1 was.  In this case there is confusion of how Beta2 exists.

I can't comment on the actual difference in driver version numbers, unfortunately.  Indeed, Catalyst 13.4 is a newer driver version number (12.104) than Catalyst 13.5 Beta.  I would suggest that if you want a WHQL (certified) driver stick with Catalyst 13.4

;Marc

Yeah, thanks Eydee...didn't have a chance to post it.

The differences and/or improvements of the "newer" driver over the **newer** driver are............what?  The first paragraph of the 13.5 Release notes or are the 13.4 drivers better in some way or are they really just the same except when using a 7990?

Is the 13.4 CAP needed for only more than 2 gpus?

Noticed no increase in quality or frame rate *so far* with CAP in Crysis 3 but will do more testing with other games as time allows.
