Hi all. I got strange problem with my  HD 5770 GPU. If I want to have DirectX 11 and all attached effects in games I have to make fresh drivers instalation after turning on my PC. Skiping this step makes me unable to use DirectX 11 in any games (f.e. only DirectX 9 in Far Cry 3, DirectX 9 and 10.1 in Shogun 2). After fresh software instalation I can use D11. (no further steps - just instalation). I hope anybody got any idea.

OS: 7 64bit
GPU: HD 5770 by Asus
Drivers: 13.4

Sorry for my bad english.

You have probably messed up your driver installation, you should try a clean install by going into safe mode, using Driver Sweeper or Driver Fusion to rid of all AMD drivers, then start PC normally and install drivers of your choice.

a few things to try:try re-downloading the latest version of Direct X http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35then perhaps try a repair on your .net framework installation http://search.microsoft.com/en-us/DownloadResults.aspx?q=.net+framework+64next try completely uninstalling your games (and by completely i mean removing the folders behind it) and then reinstalling themsounds like there could be some file corruption somewhere else but your drivers

Well, DX is up to date. Haven't try framework reinstallation (but are fresh after chcecking updates). And I think you might be right, Enticles. After turning on my PC I have launched BF3. During the game I checked in-game video properties (IDK how to name it ) by pressing right alt+s. And renering is... DX11. So I will try reinstalling other games, including manualy removing folders.

Ok, I have tried Shogun 2 reinstallation (including removing steam and all folders). Result? DX 11 is available AFTER fresh driver installation of drivers.
