Hi all,

I'm having the above executable fail to load with windows. As a result I am getting sluggish performance, random blue screens and frequent freezing of the system. The video card in this system is a HD7990.

Google so far has told me to reinstall the OS, and I have done that without the issue being resolved
Edit: I have tried different driver versions without success too.

The Error in the Application event viewer is as follows

Faulting application name: MMLoadDrv.exe, version: 2.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5154f862
Faulting module name: D3D9.DLL, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bd9a9
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0012475d
Faulting process id: 0xd6c
Faulting application start time: 0x01ce71a46ed950e9
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static\MMLoadDrv.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\D3D9.DLL
Report Id: afd26ff7-dd97-11e2-9b94-002590c4ad80

The system is the following.

HD7990 @ Stock(1000/1500)
2x E5-2678W @ 3.4Ghz
64GB Hynix 1600Mhz ECC Reg
Supermicro X9DAi

The system is at the moment not patched, the last reinstall was fully patched.  This install is currently unpatched.

This problem only occours with the 7990, I can not re-create the problem with a 6990.
I have the latest directx SDK installed.
Memtest checks out fine.
I have tried one two and four sticks of memory.

I have tride both the 13.4 drivers and the 13.6 drivers and I am rapidly running out of ideas.

Any Ideas would be greatly apreciated.

Edit: The system is running Win 7 Ultimate
