Graphics Card:

ASUS Radeon HD 6990 4GB GDDR5

AMD Catalyst Driver Version, and Driver History

Current version: AMD Catalyst 12.10

Operating System

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, build 7601)

Issue Details

My problem is that when I try to update the AMD catalyst from version 12.10 to 13.4 the installation starts and it does some kind of identifying graphics or something like that and during the identification the computer just freeze. So after trying to install it a couple of times with the same results I thoght I might try the old uninstall and then reinstall. But then I can't even unistall it. The same problem occurs there too as it tries to identify graphics. (Sorry for the vague translation of "identifying graphics" my first language is swedish).

Anybody got any ideas?
