Display Driver Stopped Responding - and suppossedly recovered. I am tired of my screens flickering and the driver failing. Ive tried uninstalling the driver, reinstalling the driver via AMD. Each time I attempt to install the driver all hell breaks lose. The last time I tried it, my computer screens went black and had to restart and remove the download via safe mode. This is a nightmare if you want to use your computer for more than an hour at a time.

I am running Windows 8 (I think I prefer Windows ME, 2000, or even damn Vista to this pile of crap).

My card is an HD 7770. Not sure what else is needed. Please help!

Sorry, I've gotten frantic and impatient over the issues and ignored the "sticky". 1. Processor = AMD FX(tm) 6100 6-Core Processor 3.30 GHz2. Graphics Card = AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series (0x683D)3. OS = Win 8 64 bit4. Driver version of Computer - ACPI x64-based PC = 6.2.9200.16384    Driver version of Display Adapter - AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series = 12.104.0.05. Power Supply = Solid Gear SDGR-650E ATX Quiet 650W Power Supply w/ 120mm fan6. RAM = 12.0 GB7. Yes, the computer came with the OS and Graphics card installed. I havent made any changes to the OS or the graphics card. 8. I have 2 monitors: 19'' Westinghouse L1975NW 1440x900 (Recommended) DVI to DVI and a 20" Dell E207WFP 1680x1050 (Recommended) VGA adapter into a VGA to DVI adapter. This is a PC. I have a 3rd monitor but won't pop up on my system, I have an HDMI cord for the 3rd unresponsive monitor. Any help would be great! Thanks!
