Oi,Recently purchased HP Envy h8 1440t loaded with Radeon HD 7950 card. After installing Catalyst 13.4 to update the driver I noticed display corruption in the form of red sub-pixelation in diagonal bands across the display. Also see various line drops, usually in the upper and lower corners of the display. This is occurs in the desktop. Running games results in tearing during gameplay.Reverting back to Microsoft Basic Display adapter eliminates the issues.Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Roll the drivers back to the ones that worked.

Yeah thx, way ahead of you on that one. Was more interested in finding out if anyone had a clue as to why updating components breaks sh*t.

Try going to Windows Update and look for (manual) updates. Read the tut on netframeworks requirements in the FAQ section of this forum. While your there, read how to do a clean install of your drivers.
