feel free to request any other info. i also have a cpu-z report.

I've had this problem with my build. Updating the Motherboard BIOS worked for me.

I have a similar problem except that I get the Windows desktop background and the system is frozen.I have just installed Windows 7 64 bit in a dual boot configuration with windows XP.

I  have a Asus Radeon HD 7790 installed on a Asus M3A79-T M/board that has an AMD 790FX/SB750 chipset. This all works fine with my Windows XP installation but when I instal the drivers for the graphics card for windows 7 then it goes through the boot process and then freezes. I have tried reinstalling drivers after completely  updating  Windows, all antivirus off but no luck.

Help would be appreciated, thank you
