I just bought a new motherboard (MSI Z87-G41) and a new CPU (I7-4770K) and I have not been able to successfully install the Catalyst drivers to use my 6950. So far I have tried using Driver Fusion and tried reinstalling windows 7 several times. No matter what I do the installation stops prematurely saying it completed successfully, but with a warning. I click to see the warning messages, but none are listed. After reboot no Catalyst. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any suggestions? This is driving me crazy. Thanks.

You could read this post in the 'How-to and FAQ' section of the forum > http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=444&threadid=162109&enterthread=y Note that this must be done before trying to install the drivers..not after.

1. Reinstall windows 7 again

2. Install all vcredist packages (there are 8 at least)

3. Install .NET 3.5 and 4.5

4. Install all updates from windows update, except for the video card driver, you should hide and disable that one

5. Try installing Catalyst again. Don't use express install, and check out the component selection dialog. The display driver and CCC/VECC should be there. If they're not, don't proceed but post here.

Reboot after each step and whenever the system asks you to do it.
