Hello there!

I am the proud owner of a 2007 Compaq Presario SR5460A running 32-bit Windows Vista... And here is my problem:

I wanted to play Company of Heroes 2... Bought the game, installed it and then found out my six year old nVidia 8400 video card wasn't up to the task! So I Went and got a new video card, a Sapphire Raedon HD 7770, popped it in easily enough and then fired up the computer and tried to install the drivers... Uh oh!  Didn't work out so well... I keep getting a fail on the AMD display driver and the HDMI audio driver - here's the installation report:

Driver Install: the installation failed

I've been trying to work out what's wrong with it ever since!  I have managed to update my Windows Eperience thing, that's gone up quite a bit so I have managed to put the card in right but I still can't get those drivers installed... No matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall them (I read something where someone had said they managed to get it working on the something-or-other try)

Could it be that I need a stronger power supply?  The guy who sold me the card said my computer may not be powerful enough (turns out it has a standard 300w) could that be causing the problem by not letting the card work properly?

Otherwise any thoughts on how I can get me some CoH2 action??? (without throwing this computer away and buying another...)

Bottom line for one card is 500W, so 300W is a little short on power.

Thanks for your reply, but do you think that could cause the drivers to not install?  I guess I'll got and get a new power supply and give it a try!
