Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1.7601, Build 7601)

Language: Portuguese (Regional Setting: Portuguese)

System Manufacturer: HP (Hewlett-Packard)

System Model: Pavilion P6-2207EP

BIOS: AMI 7.12

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs)

Card name: AMD Radeon HD 7450

Manufacturer: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.

So I have a AMD Radeon HD 7450 and yesterday I was playing Firefall, and it told me that I didn't have the latest driver installed, so I went to the AMD Support & Driver website and downloaded the Catalyst Software Suite v13.4 for Windows 7/8 64-bit as shown in the website, installed it normally and nothing happened..

So I searched a bit and I found the "AMD Catalyst Un-install Utility" and I thought it would make it possible for the 13.4 to be applied correctly, but I was wrong and after prompted reboot from the "AMD Catalyst Un-install Utility" everything was screwed, I lost the option of the Catalyst Control Center on my right click menu and my screen resolution changed from 1920x1080 to 640x480, I got really scared so I tried installing the 13.4 driver, rebooted and nothing and I'm still with this low resolution I really need help!

Also when I go to Device Manager>Graphics Card it says It's a Standard VGA Graphics Adapter, so what do I do now? I really need to fix this to play games and chill in the Internet..

I was also thinking in buying a Gigabyte Radeon HD 7850 OC 1GB DDR5 and just install the 13.4 Catalyst on there, but I want to fix this problem first!

Okay, so getting the ORIGINAL driver from HP was a sucess.

Here's how I did it, I downloaded it and disabled AVG until reboot, rebooted and 1920x1080 again and disabled AVG once again to install the 13.4 Catalyst suite, didn't change much but I got it fixed that's what matters, also what do you guys think If I upgrade this current Graphics card to a Gigabyte Radeon HD 7850 OC 1GB DDR5, I think that would make a beast rig.

I'm also gonna upgrade my power supply to 600W which is gonna be a Corsair CX600W V2 80PLUS

So would that GFX be compatible with my current MOBO?

Funny thing it has my name, It's a Joshua-H61-uATX.
