I had some artifacts in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 with driver 13.1 and wrote about it on Tom's Hardware forums: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1731879/graphical-artifacts-bfbc2-battlefield.html
Driver 13.1 has white blocky artifacts whenever you zoom in next to any wall, and 13.4 has colored geometric artifacts flashing all over the screen at times. 13.6 beta was the same as 13.4 but the artifacts were black rather than colored.
Once 13.1 was installed I could not go back and install 12.10 or older because then I would get errors, like kdbsync.exe has stopped working. Then CCC would stop working and crash and then Steam would give a "Bootstrapper" error and then crash...
So, I reinstalled Windows and installed 12.10. Everything worked fine, and no artifacts in BFBC2 for a month.
Now I buy Don't Starve and play it and eventually start getting artifacts in it, with driver 12.10. So I try driver 13.4 and it works fine with Don't Starve. Even allows me to use antialiasing without graphic glitches that 12.10 caused. But, alas, I can't play BFBC2 with this driver. So, I go to reinstall 12.10 and, bam! Same problem again with the kdbsync.exe has stopped working. Then CCC would stop working and crash and then Steam gives a "Bootstrapper" error and then crashes...
Does anyone know what catalyst 13.1 and 13.4 installs that makes reinstalling older drivers impossible, by causing these errors?
One solution I found said to uninstall AMD APP SDK Runtime, but that did not fix the problem.
