Hey there,

had a basic question - does the Catalyst Control Center crash when you go into the 3D profile settings and max everything out and save it to an .exe file?

I can never open my CCC because it crashes on startup, and what triggered this was setting really high 3D application profiles

I might just have a faulty graphics card but i was wondering if anyone else had instability issues with CCC too. I feel like its so crap and fragile that the tiniest bit of high settings will send it plummeting down to hell.

Some insight would be appreciated, thanks.

CCC is a .NET application doing little more than changing registry entries. A faulty graphics card won't do sh***t to it.

You either have a faulty .NET install, a borked OS or just generic system instability due to faulty RAM, too much OC etc.

I suggest you run the usual stability tests. (Memtest86, Prime95, Furmark etc.)
