Hey

Since updating to 13.9 for BF4 Beta I have had a few instances of my desktop colour scheme returning to default and my XFX 5770 maxing out and hitting 70 degrees celcius whilst no apps or games are open.

This is quite a worrying issue really as I have to hit shut down of log off to restore it to normal, is this a system process atidxx that is causing this? I'm waiting for it to happen again so I can try killing the process.

My friend is also getting a similar issue on a 7xxx card since updating CCC to 13.9

Well I have 7850 and use 13.9 with such issues, but since you supplied no information on your system I can't begin to wonder why it is on yours.

Please read the Sticky Read Before Posting which this User Forum has detailed required information for you to supply.

Ah ok sorry

I submitted a report but just wondered if it was a known issues with you guys for whatever reason, still pretty new to pc's. Been using this cheap one I bought from a mate until I get the rest of the bits for new build.

I have a couple of GTX460 sonic platinums I could use instead but this 5770 has been a right trooper so want to stick with it as long as possible in this machine.

Have you tried a clean install of CCC by un-install and re-install 13.9.

Un-install:

http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/GPU57RemoveOldGraphicsDrivers.aspx

Install:

http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/InstallCatalystDriversForWindows.aspx

Also there is an alternative to the removal tool that can be found at:
