- Bad FPS, lag and frequent crashes after I update drivers. If I reinstall the older version it continues to work fine until I attempt to update again.

- I am running two HD 6970's in crossfire and had installed the default driver versions provided with the cards on a disk. All of my games run fine, good FPS and no lag on this version. 13.9 driver is trash. u can only use 13.4. see my thread. last useable driver for win7 users is 13.6 beta 2, all drivers after that are trash.

amd makes multiple new driver versions for windows 8 without realizing their implementation of new win8 d3d doesnt work in the driver version for windows 7. hard to believe! i think it just comes down to the fact their team stopped support for windows 7.

Thanks for the advice juke, I'll downgrade and try it out. Yeah, you wouldn't think they would do something like that!

Any idea where I can download an older version of the drivers from?

yeah i dont know what they did to the drivers starting with 13.7 but i cant believe it just happend by chance. i smell an agenda to push people to win8 or just utter fail in programming.

I used all betas after 13.4 without them being thrash. Maybe you have faulty hardware or something.

You're also ignoring the #1 rule of gaming: Do not use CF or SLI. Ever.

Try proper english with caps, doesn't make it anymore important. This is a user forum, if you want to vent to AMD give them a call juker.
