here's a business decesion...sell my 7870 and buy a GTX 660 ti / 760.....

Result get lastest fixes for game performance.

Thought MS was bad....hope I'm wrong but the decent thing to do would have been to announce that they'd dropped support for vista....well I've dropped support for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People, it's your choice, you loss as well. If you want to buy another card, no one will stop you. This kind of "threatening" is completely useless, it doesn't hurt me or any other user if you switch. Good luck with the new hardware.

No one is trying to hurt you...Get over yourself. This is a forum and people express their opinions.

I am sure we know that amd don't give a toss about us. They've already shown that by not supporting us. I thought that THEY were the customer friendly company. I believe I am wrong unless this is simply an oversight.

IF thay have dropped support then they haven't even had the decency to announce it.

If you can't undedrstand the frustration of people who have recently bought new GPU's from amd/distributors only to find that they have dropped a OS that is STILL supported by MS, then I don't know what to think.

U SADDO

This forum is manly consisted of fellow gamers. Yes on occassion you will see someone from AMD comment on somebody's post which is on the edge. The user like to here your issues and will try to help. Sure you are allowed to have an view that vista should be supported. As technology goes forward some OS are stuck back in time. Sticking with Vista is your choice and changing card may address the issue right now, but you may find yourself right back with a new set of issues later. Like XP, Vista will soon be like the dinosaurs, extinct and dead.

Yes WM......I realise that Vista is getting old...But MS are not supporting XP (as far as I am aware) BUT are supporting Vista.

13.9 drivers exsist for XP ????

I would think that any Gpu manufaturer would want to support an exsisting OS. I am wrong.

I have an offer on my card but not enough just yet BUT hopefully I'll vbe rid of it soon.

WMudrockJr thanks for a though-out contribution

Whatever that german text means, I don't think AMD breaks any laws. They do if they advertise anywhere lifetime driver support for any OS. I don't think they do. If I'm mistaken, point me in the right direction.

Vista drivers exist, the OS is supported. AMD is not entitled to release new drivers past initial support. You couldn't even sue them if they released only one driver in the whole lifetime of the OS.
